Summarization

Well a summary hmmmmm. I can honestly say I will use some of these things but most of them I havent used since I signed up for them recently. Especially this blog. Will never post again to it! My RSS feeds have been piling up--yikes! Have yet to do anything with delicious; but I hope to use it soon. Lets hop eI remember all my passwords now... All in all it was a good experience!

ahhh craigslist

I search craigslist just about every day. I found my husbands new truck on it a few weeks ago! Now I am searching for bedroom furniture.

We get the monthly librarian schedule through google docs now. I have yet to use it myself. I know you can create documents and invite people to view them and also change/update them. It is a good tool because you can access them anywhere without needing a USB flashdrive or any kind of storage device.

I find that most are from Wikipedia. Weren't we taught as librarians not to trust these kind of things because anybody can edit them? Therefore the information is not factual.

So Sara was kind enough to enlighten me regarding RSS feeds. I will say they are kind of good but now will I keep up with actually reading all of it.
I have signed up for the RSS feed of ours that gives the new music.

Finding new feeds is quite an easy thing. Most news sites have them but a good one is failblog.com. Now Nick doesnt have to send me them anymore. Thats if I ever hear from him again!

Downloadable audio can mean a gaggle of things...of course I downlaod music but NOT books. I am not interested in listening to books. I enjoy forming my own ideas of a character!

So I had a Shelfari account but deleted it today...haven't used it in 2 years!
I also have a LibraryThing account and WOW I remembered my sign in.
I am quite sad to admit that I haven't really read anything recently. Haven't gotten over the TWILIGHT series yet!

Wow...I will say that delicious is a little confusing. But what a valuable site. I never really understood what it was but now I do:) It would have helped me out a few months ago when my computer crashed and I lost all my bookmarks. What a hassle to redo them all!

So I had a myspace page but no longer do...I have become a facebook junkie these days:)
I have checked out the library's pages on both facebook and myspace. I often wonder if they are frequently visited? I am currently a friend of the facebook page!

No tweeting for me...

So I figure that twitter is not for me because I like to be somewhat private about where I am...
